About this treatment
What it does.
Skin booster injections (e.g. Profhilo, Restylane Vital) deliver hyaluronic acid directly into the skin to hydrate, smooth and improve elasticity. Different to fillers - this doesn't add volume, it improves skin quality.
Best in a short course of two sessions, four weeks apart. Results build over 8-12 weeks and last around 6 months.
What to expect
- Mandatory consultation before treatment
- Numbing cream applied 20 minutes before
- Multiple small injections across the treatment area
- Small bumps under the skin for 24-48 hours - this is normal
